PINE Educator Leading The Way

Head of Lower School, Jen McDonough, lent her expertise as a host of the Florida Council of Independent Schools' New Teacher Institute in Orlando. McDonough was selected from among 144 FCIS member schools to work with educators who are either new to the classroom or new to independent school teaching.

"I was excited to share what I believe are the best aspects of working in a private school," McDonough said. "My goal was to provide these new educators with practical tips and strategies to help them understand the importance of relationship-building and learn how to integrate seamlessly into our close-knit educational communities."
