Applying to The Pine School

Thank you for your interest in The Pine School! Our goal is to make the application process as simple as possible for families.

The application portal opens up every year on September 1st. We encourage families to submit all documents to the Admission Office by December 20 in order to be considered in the first round of acceptances. Decisions will be sent out on February 1. If you miss the December 20 deadline, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as long as space is available. You can check the status of your application anytime via the myPine portal. When you have completed the process and the admission committee has had time to review your child’s complete application, the myPine portal is where you will find the decision letters as well as enrollment contracts if applicable.

Admission Timeline for the 2027-28 School Year

September 1 - Admission Applications Open for the 2027-28 School Year
November 1 - Financial Aid Applications Open for the 2027-28 School Year

December 20 - First Round Admission and Financial Aid Applications Deadline for the 2027-28 School Year
February 1 - Admission Decision Letters and Financial Aid Offers Sent

*Applications for admissions and/or Financial Aid received after March 20 will be reviewed on a rolling basis beginning in April and will continue to be reviewed until spaces are filled and Financial Aid has been exhausted

Click on this link to open up a myPine account to begin the application process. From here you will be able to request teacher recommendations, upload pertinent documents and monitor the status of your application. When we see that you have completed some of these steps, we will contact you to schedule a visit with us.

The Process

The process of admission to The Pine School varies a bit by grade level however, in general you will need to submit separate applications for each child. Report cards, standardized test scores, teacher recommendations, a school statement from your current school, a visit day to PINE, admission testing and a $75 non-refundable application fee are some of the requirements.
