School-day college fair

Dear Students and Parents,


 
I am excited to share that PINE will again host a school-day college fair on Monday, April 20, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. 32 colleges will be on campus, as part of our partnership with the Florida Regional Admission Counselors (FRAC) group. The format of the fair is table-style and self-directed, so students can decide which schools they want to meet. It will be held in the auditorium. A list of participating schools is linked here.
 
Sophomores and juniors are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this great opportunity. Freshmen who are interested are welcome to speak to me if they'd like to attend. Students will receive a unique barcode through Strive Scan 24-48 hours before the event at their PINE email. This barcode will save time at the fair, allowing students to scan in, rather than completing handwritten forms at individual tables. Students should print their bar code and bring it to the fair. 
 
While this event is geared toward students, PINE parents in Grades 10-11 are also welcome. Please register in advance on Strive Scan so you can receive your own bar code if you plan to be there. Note that parking will be limited. Please use the hill above Baratta Field.

PS - Families are also encouraged to consider the regional fair that same evening, which will take place at The Benjamin School (Healey Athletic Complex) from 6-8pm. A separate Strive Scan registration is necessary for that event.
