The Pine School Achieves Third Consecutive AP Platinum Distinction
The Pine School has once again been recognized by the College Board's AP School Honor Roll with a Platinum Distinction.
The Pine School has once again been recognized by the College Board's AP School Honor Roll with a Platinum Distinction. The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools that have done outstanding work to welcome students into AP courses and support them on the path to college success. This highest level of recognition is reserved for schools that meet the College Board's criteria for College Culture, College Credit, and College Optimization, based on AP enrollments, offerings, and testing outcomes.
Since the inception of the AP School Honor Roll in 2023, The Pine School has received Platinum Distinction all three years, while also improving within each of the metrics. Furthermore, we are on track to surpass this year with 100% of the Class of 2026 graduating with at least one AP course on their transcript.
"The recent addition of the AP Capstone Diploma program and ensuring that strong AP offerings are available in every discipline has helped to ensure equity in access to these courses," shared Sean Carlson, Head of Upper School. "Our students' continued success in these courses and on national AP exams and portfolio submissions highlights the strength and dedication of our Upper School faculty."
