Homecoming traditions aren’t just events; they provide a major foundation for our unique student-life experience. Homecoming is where our Upper School students collaborate to bring their imaginative themes to life, demonstrating impressive creativity and teamwork. It's a vibrant celebration of our community's innovative spirit.
"PINE’s Homecoming traditions bring out both our creativity and our competitive spirit," reflected Senior Class President, Jane Hadley Critchfield. "The time also strengthens the bonds within the grade levels, which fosters school pride."
This year's Homecoming was no exception. The friendly competition of Dodgeball, Beach Volleyball & Powder Puff Football was followed by each Upper School Grade presenting their take of a Netflix original show (Freshmen - Nailed It, Sophomores - Cobra Kai, Juniors - Wednesday & Seniors - Stranger Things).
The Quest For The Shield was sealed during an all-School Pep Rally, featuring the boy's grade-level dances. This year's Shield winner was the Class of 2026.
The week concluded with a decisive Varsity Volleyball victory, as PINE swept Master’s Academy in three straight sets during the annual Homecoming Game, themed “Under the Sea.”
Photos from the week can be seen in PINE's Pixevety account.
