Art with a purpose. 

 

Upper School art students from The Pine School recently spent the day at Molly's House in Stuart, repairing and restoring the mosaic fountain that forms the heart of the house’s healing garden.

 

This project carries a special legacy: the original fountain was built in 2015 by art teacher Tracy Canada and a group of local students. Nearly a decade later, Tracy returned to the 14-bedroom healthcare hospitality house with a new generation of students to ensure the installation shines ahead of the nonprofit's 30th anniversary on September 21st.

 

“The fountain remains a cherished spot of quiet reflection for families staying near their treatment teams,” noted Molly's House Executive Director Katie Bartlett.
