We were honored to host renowned historian and New York Times best-selling author, Alex Kershaw, for an unforgettable session with our 8th–12th Graders and parents.
From his work on The Liberator (now on Netflix) to his riveting account of D-Day in The First Wave, Kershaw is a master at humanizing the past. He didn't just lecture; he showed our students how investigative journalism can breathe life into historical records.
"This was a unique opportunity to see how a master storyteller applies investigative journalism to the historical record,” shared History Department Chair Nathaniel Osborn.
It was a natural extension of the rigorous work our History Department does every day. A huge thank you to Alex Kershaw for an inspiring visit!
