How To Make A Gift

Parents, alumni, faculty, staff and friends make gifts to PINE with many kinds of assets and in a variety of forms.  Options include cash, check, credit card payments, gifts of marketable securities, in-kind donations, and other assets.

Gifts of Cash

A majority of the gifts made to The Pine School come in the form of cash, check or credit card. A gift of cash entitles you to the most generous federal income tax-deduction available for charitable contributions. You may deduct up to 50 percent of your adjusted gross income for gifts of cash and may carry any amount over that figure forward for up to five additional years.

Wire Transfer Information

The Pine School accepts donations via Domestic Wires, International Wires, and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfers.  For information on how to complete a wire transfer, please contact the Development Office at Development@thepineschool.org.

Gifts of Appreciated Securities

To transfer securities, please provide your broker with the following information:

To transfer mutual funds, foreign stocks, physical certificates, or any other gifts that may require special instructions, please contact the Development Office at development@thepineschool.org

Donor Advised Funds

To make a gift through a donor-advised fund, select “The Pine School, Inc.” (Tax ID/EIN of 59-116282) as the recipient for all gifts to Pine. Please make sure to specify the gift designation.

Matching Gifts

Many employers offer matching gift programs that will increase the value of a donor's gift. Contact your human resources office to obtain the necessary paperwork or information and send it to The Pine School, 12350 SE Federal Highway, Hobe Sound, FL 33455, Attn: Development Office, or development@thepineschool.org.

Gifts of Other Assets
