In September 2011, the nation’s leading thinkers and doers converged at The Pine School for our area’s first-ever TEDx symposium. Like all TEDx events, TEDxThePineSchool featured a series of short, thought-provoking talks in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading.”

Speakers from the worlds of education, science, business, and technology (including such notables as Monster.com founder Jeff Taylor, Ocean Research and Conservation Association founder Dr. Edie Widder, child development expert Dr. Becky Bailey, and “mathemagician” Dr. Arthur Benjamin) addressed attendees. TEDxThePineSchool was licensed by the global non-profit TED.
